●An Oct. 10 Page One article about the U.S. government buying outdated, costly and buggy technology incorrectly said that CGI Federal, a contractor working on the government’s new health-care Web site, had a sole-source contract with the Department of Health and Human Services. In fact, multiple bidders competed for that contract. The article also misstated the name of a Washington-based group that represents government contractors. It is the Professional Services Council, not the Professional Services Industry Council.
