The Nation’s Weather for Thursday, June 13, 2019

Rain and drenching thunderstorms will soak eastern New

England tomorrow as a storm system lifts northward along the

East coast. Farther to the south and west, a separate storm

system will trigger showers and locally gusty thunderstorms

across the mid-Atlantic. These storms could also produce

small hail, especially across western parts of Maryland and

Pennsylvania. Abnormally cool air will accompany the wet

weather and also extend from the Upper Midwest to the Ohio

Valley and Great Lakes region. Elsewhere, storms will erupt

in the Front Range of the Rockies late in the day, while

heat continues to bake the Four Corners region. Dry and

pleasant weather will grace the Central states and Deep

South. The record-breaking heat in the Pacific Northwest

will come to an end.
