November skies

[I first wrote “October skies" but it just crossed my mind that this is November. So I’m changing that, as a sign of how meticulous I am about the granular details.] This is the time of year when the clouds get really dramatic, because the atmosphere is transitional and the usual cirrus, stratus, nimbus and cumulus clouds are supplemented by rare formations, including stratowickus, scrabblus and altoschnookus. Below, operating the software as bestus I can, I’ll paste in some photos and we’ll see if WordPress spits them out. I’m having caption issues. But who isn’t???? These are photos from Wednesday in DC.
