Bits and pieces of Pope Francis’s encyclical, scheduled for release Thursday, are coming out since an early draft of the document was leaked Monday. The Italian newsweekly L’Espresso leaked an Italian version of the document where Francis calls out climate change deniers and for action to curb global warming.

The document, titled “Laudato Si” or “Praised Be,” is expected to frustrate his conservative critics. “The poor and the Earth are shouting,” reads the draft of the encyclical, the first of its kind dedicated to the environment. The Washington Post translated portions of the draft.

Pope Francis also proposes a new prayer to connecting faith with nature. Here’s one translation from the Italian text of the early draft of the encyclical.

The Pope’s Prayer for our earth at the end:
High Lord,
who art present in the whole universe,
and in the smallest among your creatures,
You who envelop with your tenderness
everything which exists,
you pour into us the strength of your love,
so that we can take care
of life and beauty.
Flood us with peace,
so that we may live like brothers and sisters
without harming anyone.
Father of the poor,
help us deliver the abandoned
and the forgotten of this earth
that mean so much to you.
Restore our life,
so that we may protect the world,
not so that we may plunder it,
so that we seed beauty,
not pollution and destruction.
Touch the hearts
of those that only look for advantages
at the expense of the poor and of the earth.
Teach us to discover the value of everything,
to contemplate with wonder,
to recognize our being deeply united
with all creatures
on our path towards your infinite light.

This prayer will be updated Thursday when the Vatican releases the final English translation.
