Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are getting divorced, and the Dalai Lama is concerned about their children.

“Six? And they’re divorced?” the spiritual leader asked, apparently as surprised as the rest of the media-consuming world was to learn of the megawatt star couple’s split.

Piers Morgan asked the Dalai Lama for his thoughts on Pitt and Jolie during a wide-ranging interview on British morning television  Wednesday, during which the spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhists also imitated the shape of Donald Trump’s mouth.

About the end of Brangelina, Morgan asked, “What do you feel about that?”

“Sad,” the Dalai Lama replied, in a clip posted online by the Independent. “Sometimes in divorced people, the children, they’ll come closer to their father or mother. Sometimes it’s difficult. So I think that may sort of harm their deep sort of experiences or psychology like that.”
