Pope Francis met with President Trump at the Vatican today on the third leg of the U.S. commander in chief’s first overseas trip since taking office. Last year, the two exchanged barbs over Trump’s call to build a wall on the U.S. border with Mexico, and the two leaders are seen as opposites in many ways.

There are plenty of photos and videos of the pontiff smiling with the president, but one photo showing an unsmiling Francis standing next to a beaming Trump is circulating widely.

But one photo does not capture an entire event. Several photos also show the pope smiling with the president.

Trump posted a short video of his meeting on his Twitter feed, showing the two talking at a table. A Vatican communique said the two spoke about international affairs and interreligious dialogue, especially about the situation in the Middle East and the protection of Christian communities.

The pope shared a light moment with first lady Melania Trump when he pointed toward Trump and asked her, “What do you give him to eat? Potica?” Potica is a Slovenian festive roll, according to the Associated Press.

Meanwhile, past photos of the pontiff meeting with President Barack Obama show a range of moods.

Since he became pontiff, Francis has been a social media star, kissing a baby pope and taking selfies with teens.
