DC Comics, File/Associated Press – FILE – In this comic book image released by DC Comics, the cover of “Superman” No. 1, is shown.

It’s not often that a superhero joins the blogging world, but, apparently, we are getting one — Superman, er, Clark Kent.

According to the BBC, Clark Kent, Superman’s alter ego, is going to leave his position as star reporter at the Daily Planet newspaper — where he has worked since the 1940s — because he thinks the new conglomerate that owns the publication isn’t interested in publishing actual news.

And get this: He may become a blogger so that he can the kind of work he really wants to do!

This is said to be the new story line in the next Superman comic book, published by DC Comics for decades. The BBC said:

“Why am I the one sounding like a grizzled ink-stained wretch who believes news should be about, I don’t know, news?” says a disillusioned Kent, according to a leaked panel from Wednesday’s edition of the comic that appeared on the Newsarama.com website.
