Francisco G. Cigarroa says police could have trouble distinguishing "the good guys from the bad guys on a crowded campus" if the Texas Legislature passes a law allowing concealed handguns on campuses.

Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell said on WTOP radio's "Ask the Governor" show that it is time to have a public discussion about allowing officials on school campuses to carry guns. Here is a letter from two Virginia residents -- University of Virginia cognitive scientist Daniel Willingham and his wife, teacher Trisha Willingham -- starting that very discussion by telling McDonnell he is wrong.
