A plane crash, selfies and a bad boyfriend attacked by a tiger — and that’s just in the first minute of Katy Perry’s “Roar” video. In true anthem fashion, Perry conquers the wild and becomes queen of the jungle, which includes painting an elephant’s toenails, swinging through the jungle and naming a tiger “Katy Purry.”

Just a day after the video’s release, Perry spent the morning on “Good Morning America” to debut the cover of her album “Prism,” which will be released Oct. 22.

And, of course, no stop at GMA is complete without a “big announcement.” She announced her “Roar Fan Contest.” High schoolers across the country can submit their own “Roar” video for a chance to win a live concert from Perry at their high school on her birthday, Oct. 25.

Oh, and Perry’s thoughts on the now-infamous VMAs performances:
“I thought my performance was the most scandalous because I kept my clothes on.”
