Last month, we published a profile about Valentina Lisitsa, the Ukranian-born pianist who used YouTube to become one of the most popular classical musicians on the Internet. She’s captivated classical circles and stunned some technologists with her first-to-YouTube strategy, which earned her more subscribers  than Lang Lang, Itzhak Perlman and Yo-Yo Ma combined.

She was scheduled to perform at the Library of Congress on Oct. 15, but the concert was canceled due to the government shutdown.

Thankfully, the Library of Congress rescheduled her Washington concert for Friday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. Below is her first viral video showing off her fast fingers, performing Rachmaninoff’s Etude Op. 39 No. 6, or “Little Red Riding Hood.”
