Jared Leto is a man of many talents: actor, musician, director, photographer … and, more recently, left-field fashion icon/convincing religious impersonator.
Leto arrived at last night’s Oscar awards sporting a white tux, black patent leather shoes and wavy, ombre-dyed locks that are surely the envy of many a Hollywood starlet. That one-upped Leto’s Grammys combo of black tux and messy half-bun — not exactly an easy task.
This being 2014, of course, one of People’s 50 most beautiful people can’t step on the red carpet in that kind of get-up without attracting some social media attention. Here is Jared Leto as L’Oreal hair model:

Jared Leto as Jim Carrey’s Las Vegas magician Steve Gray from “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone”:
Jared Leto as the prince, post-beast, from “Beauty and the Beast”:
Jared Leto as “woodland creature” (why?):
And finally, Jared Leto as the hotel staff member from Fight Club, a film in which he actually appeared — not sure he’d get away with those lustrous locks at an upscale hotel job, though:
Consensus holds, however, that despite Leto’s designer suit and dubiously sincere shout-outs to Ukraine and Venezuela, he most closely resembled — well, Jesus. One young woman went so far as to tweet to the account @Catholicgrlprobs that she’s “attracted to Jared Leto cuz he looks like Jesus.” (“This guy is Jesus with swag,” another user followed up.)

For the record, Leto was wearing Yves Saint Laurent — and if the fashion house is displeased with all these comparisons to Disney characters/female models/Christianity’s Lord and savior, they’re hiding it well.
