There were a lot of interesting and just weird revelations from Harrison Ford’s reddit “Ask Me Anything” session over the weekend.

Probably the most important was his answer to the age-old question: who shot first, Han Solo or Greedo?

“I don’t know and I don’t care,” Ford said, which was either the best answer imaginable to the question, or the most unsatisfying. More on that over at The Switch.

But there was plenty more for “Star Wars,” “Indiana Jones,” and “Blade Runner” fans out there.

Here are the best answers from Harrison Ford’s AMA:

1. “Snakes, why did it have to be snakes?”

Turns our Ford is actually a fan of snakes:

I actually like snakes! When I was young, I was a boy scout nature camp counselor, and one of our projects was collecting snakes and creating an environment for them, so I’m quite familiar with snakes and think they’r [sic] fantastic creatures.

2. He did (eventually) return Conan O’Brien’s $1,000 bribe

Some quick back story: On an episode of Conan O’Brien’s eponymous show last August, Ford took $1,000 in cash in exchange for spilling the beans on spoilers for the upcoming “Star Wars: Episode VIII” show. Yes, really $1,000.

Ford took the money home, then realized casually that he had $1,000 sitting in his suit pocket and was nice enough to return the cash:

Oh, I think it was Conan. Conan gave me $1000 to tell him something and in fact it was real. I remember that I put it in my pocket, and nobody remembered to get it back from me and I forgot all about it until the next day, when by coincidence I was at a neighbor’s house and I ran into the producer from the Conan show and I excused myself from the party and went back to the house and got the $1000 out of the suit which I just remembered was still there, and I gave it back to him.

3. That time Harrison Ford had dysentery on the set of Indiana Jones

I’ll leave you to read the details of this strange story for yourselves:

 4. What would you rather fight: 100 chicken-sized Jabba the Hutts or one Jabba the Hutt sized chicken?

These are the important questions of our time. Ford:

The latter. Please.

5. Harrison Ford has never seen “Anchorman”

Not only has he not seen the “Anchorman” movies, but he hasn’t seen the “Anchorman” movie that he made a cameo in. Then again, if anyone can get away with acting in a move he hasn’t seen, it would be Harrison Ford:

It was goofy. I hadn’t seen Anchorman, it was only one day’s work, and I knew that it was very popular, and I admired the talents of the people involved, so I went to do it and had a great time, I enjoyed it. I still haven’t seen it though.

6. He has seen “Allie McBeal,” however

Because we were all wondering:

I thought Allie McBeal was fantastic. I really liked the show. I didn’t see that many episodes, but I did think it was great.

7. He’d be open to a Blade Runner sequel

Feel free to start holding your breath now:

I’m quite curious and excited about seeing a new script for Blade Runner if in fact the opportunity would exist to do another, if it’s a good script I would be very anxious to work with Ridley Scott again, he’s a very talented and passionate filmmaker. And I think it would be very interesting to revisit the character.
