Actress Mila Kunis gave birth to a baby girl on Tuesday night, TMZ and other celebrity sites reported, with fiance Ashton Kutcher by her side. The site says the couple arrived on the hospital on Tuesday morning.
Sound hazy? Honestly, those are probably all of the details we’re going to get. Kutcher, known for parading past romances down red carpets and constantly talking about his love life, has drastically dialed down his persona in recent years. Though his high-profile marriage to Demi Moore was tabloid fodder for years, Kutcher’s been on lockdown since he started dating Kunis, his former “That 70’s Show” co-star, two years ago.
Yep, the guy who was officially the first oversharing Twitter celebrity is now tight-lipped about his personal life. He doesn’t even tweet anymore. Kutcher handed his account over to his PR team in 2011 after the outrage when he angrily tweeted about Joe Paterno being fired from Penn State — without realizing the story behind the child sexual abuse scandal.
Kutcher, 36, and Kunis, 31, started dating in 2012 — shortly after his split with Moore, which involved tabloid headlines about him cheating with a woman in San Diego on his wedding anniversary. Even now, the couple rarely talks about their engagement (which happened last year),and Kunis only discussed her pregnancy when it became very obvious.
“I am going to do everything in my power to have this relationship be private,” Kutcher told Elle Magazine in 2013. (About a year after Moore had a semi-public meltdown in the wake of their divorce.) Kutcher added, “I’ve learned the hard way how valuable privacy is.”
The closest Kutcher and Kunis have come to commenting on their relationship was a strange, self-referential episode of Kutcher’s comedy “Two and a Half Men.” Kunis guest starred as his love interest and they joked about how crazy it would be to date a Hollywood actress.
