Where can I watch the VMAs?

The VMAs are Sunday, Aug. 28, at 9 p.m. on MTV, live from Madison Square Garden in New York City. (You can also watch on other Viacom channels: VH1, BET, Spike, TVLand, Logo, Comedy Central, etc.)

Online options: If you have a cable subscription, you may be able to watch the show on VMA.MTV.com or the MTV app.

What time will the show be over?

It's scheduled to end at 11:30 p.m.

Who's the host?

There isn't one, but MTV promises that comedians Jay Pharoah and Nicole Byer, along with DJ Khaled, will be the "main show commentators."

Who's performing?

So far, the network has revealed Rihanna (also receiving the coveted Video Vanguard Award); Ariana Grande; Nicki Minaj; Britney Spears feat. G-Eazy; Nick Jonas feat. Ty Dolla $ign; and Future. Plus, TMZ reports the network is giving Kanye West four minutes to say or sing whatever he wants, so, get ready for that. (No, Taylor Swift is not scheduled to attend.)

Where can I see all the fashion and awkward celebrity interviews?

The red carpet starts at 6:15 p.m. on MTV, though the official "preshow" will be on at 8 p.m.: Alessia Cara, Jidenna and Lukas Graham will perform during this hour.

What about the after-shows?

As always, there's an after-show — it starts at 11:30 p.m. and goes until midnight.
