"Dancing With the Stars" announced its new cast for Season 23 on "Good Morning America" on Tuesday, and it is eclectic, including Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte, model Amber Rose and former presidential contender Texas governor Rick Perry.

"Rick Perry will be cha-chaing!" host Tom Bergeron gleefully told "GMA" co-anchor George Stephanopoulos.

"We've had a Texas politician in the past, right? Tom DeLay?" Stephanopoulos asked of the former House majority leader and 2009 "DWTS" contestant, who had to drop out with foot injuries.

"That's right. Hopefully, Rick will do better," Bergeron added.

Here's the complete cast list for this season, which kicks off Sept. 12 on ABC:

Jake T. Austin, 21, actor (partnered with Jenna Johnson)

How you know him: He starred for years as Selena Gomez's younger brother on Disney's "Wizards of Waverly Place," followed by two seasons on ABC Family drama "The Fosters." He's very much a part of the ABC-Disney family.

Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, 57, R&B singer/songwriter/producer (partnered with Allison Holker)

How you know him: Ever heard Boyz II Men power ballads "I'll Make Love to You" or "End of the Road"? Of course you have. Babyface, an unstoppable force in the 1990s, wrote both. He's also a producer on "The Bodyguard" soundtrack. Of course, he's a successful singer in his own right, racking up multiple Grammy-nominated songs.

Marilu Henner, 64, actress (partnered with Derek Hough)

How you know her: For starring on "Taxi" in the late 1970s and early 1980s. However, did you know she also has "highly superior autobiographical memory" and can recall specific details like the day of the week for each of her birthdays?

James Hinchcliffe, 29, race-car driver (partnered with Sharna Burgess)

How you know him: If you're not an auto racing fan, you might recognize him from headlines about how he almost died after a horrific crash while training for the Indy 500 last year.

Calvin Johnson, 30, former NFL player (partnered with Lindsay Arnold)

How you know him: As a Detroit Lions wide receiver for his whole career — he just announced his retirement in the spring.

Terra Jolé, 36, reality star (partnered with Sasha Farber)

How you know her: She's one of the original cast members on Lifetime's reality show "Little Women: LA," and she later landed a spinoff, "Little Women: Terra's Little Family," about life with a new baby.

Jana Kramer, 31, country singer (partnered with Gleb Savchenko)

How you know her: If you're a country fan, you know her breakout single "Why Ya Wanna," which topped the charts in 2012, and she recently had a hit with "I Got the Boy." But she was first known as a TV actress on "One Tree Hill," along with stints on "Entourage" and "Friday Night Lights."

Laurie Hernandez, 16, Olympic gymnast (partnered with Val Chmerkovskiy)

How you know her: As one-fifth of the Final Five, the gold-medal-winning U.S. Olympic gymnastics team this year. Oh, and she was just onstage at the MTV Video Music Awards and got to hug Beyoncé.

Ryan Lochte, 32, Olympic swimmer (partnered with Cheryl Burke)

How you know him: Oh, he's just the athlete who caused an international scandal when he exaggerated details of an alleged robbery during the Olympics. He also has a few gold medals.

Maureen McCormick, 60, actress (partnered with Artem Chigvintsev)

How you know her: If you don't know Maureen McCormick, then you don't know "The Brady Bunch" or Marcia Brady(!), and that's unforgivable.

Rick Perry, 66, politician (partnered with Emma Slater)

How you know him: He was the Republican governor of Texas for 14 years, and he ran for president in 2012 and 2016.

Amber Rose, 32, model and actress (partnered with Maks Chmerkovskiy)

Regular tabloid readers may also recognize her from dating Kanye West (he gave her a shout-out at the VMAs on Sunday) or her brief marriage to Wiz Khalifa.

Vanilla Ice, 48, rapper (partnered with Witney Carson)
