The late-night comedians all had some thoughts about President Trump’s combative news conference on Tuesday, but ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel took a different approach.

After the required monologue jokes, Kimmel got serious, addressing Trump voters in a rare, lengthy speech that started with Kimmel explaining that he truly understood why they voted for him — and ended with a plea for the president’s supporters to now remove him from office “for the good of this country.”
