Good news — alongside the scheduled maintenance last week, we’re adding two new features to the comments section.

First, we updated the My Comments page for readers. If you don’t already know, the My Comments page is a place to find every post you’ve made on The Washington Post. Quick reminder: You can find the My Comments page by going to the comments section and clicking your username or by going to this link. On the My Comments page, you’ll now be able to sort through posts by newest, oldest, most likes and most replies.

Every original comment made on The Post will now have its own permanent link. With these links, you’ll be able to share a specific post and any replies from one URL. You may remember having this feature in the past. To share a post, click the time stamp in the top-left corner of an original comment (see screenshot below). These link will allow anyone to share comments on The Post anywhere else online.

What do you think about the new features? Share your thoughts or questions in the comments below.
