Chase Bank customers reported being unable to access the bank’s website and mobile application for hours on Monday, just ahead of the Fourth of July holiday. Some also complained at being unable to withdraw money from ATMs or get any services inside bank branches.
To share their frustrations, many took to Twitter.
Chase clients said they couldn’t log in or see their account.
One customer from Wisconsin said they experienced issued inside the banks as well.
“I went in person to my local branch in Wisconsin and was told they were completely down and could not even give me a receipt,” the customer said by email.
Chase did not say what caused the outages: “We’re experiencing some slowness on parts of chase.com and mobile. We’re actively working on it and hope to have things back to normal soon,” said company spokeswoman Trish Wexler in an email.
By Monday evening, Chase announced that services had been restored.
The bank also said any deposits made Monday would be processed as normal.
