This morning’s brief period of snow behaved as forecast for the most part, with just some conversational flakes inside the beltway that coated car tops, and light accumulations of an inch or so to the west and southwest. The storm underperformed slightly in the northern suburbs as the incoming bands of snow collapsed in the dry air.
