Tomorrow (Wednesday): Sunny, but blustery. When the wind takes a breather, the April sun feels great, but when the wind smack you in the face (especially in the shade), it will bring you back to January. Highs are in the upper 40s in the cooler suburbs to low 50s downtown. Winds are from the northwest at 15-20 mph, but may gust to 25-30+ mph at times.
Pollen: Tree counts are HIGH at 467.74 grains per cubic meter, primarily from the cedar/cypress/juniper family, elm and maple species.
Fire weather watch: The combination of recent dry weather and predicted gusty winds and low humidity Wednesday have prompted the National Weather Service to hoist a Fire Weather Watch for the region. Already, the winds and dry air have helped fan a brush fire northeast of Baltimore on Carroll Island. The smoke from the fire is even apparent on radar.
