There is plenty to like about the next few days. To begin with, true spring time temperatures. No dodging rain drops over the weekend either. A fine full moon greets us tonight, called many different names but I will go with Grass Moon, since most lawns are looking lush thanks to recent rains. A few clouds may try to sneak back into the picture on Sunday but rain chances are slim for at least a week.

Today (Thursday): Showers should be well to our east by daybreak and clouds should quickly follow suit. Colder air pushes in behind the front but is up against a stronger sun and highs still manage a respectable mid-60s range. Winds are from the northwest at 5 to 10 mph. Confidence: Medium-High

Tonight: The full moon rises in splendor but put on a jacket before heading out to admire it. Evening readings are in the 50s and lows end up in the upper 30s to mid-40s. Confidence: High

Tomorrow (Friday): Sunshine goes strong all day long with only a light breeze. That helps to make the most of highs in the mid-to-upper 60s. Confidence: High

Tomorrow night: The calming wind and relatively strong high pressure overhead cools things down in a hurry under starry skies. It is unlikely that even the coldest spots make it down to freezing but if you have set out a houseplant, best to bring it in for the night. Lows reach the upper 30s suburbs to mid-40s downtown. Confidence: High

Saturday is as close to perfection as you are going to get. A great day for gardening and it is now definitely the season. However, just about anything else you can imagine to get you out and about is a fine idea. Highs reach the lower 70s and breezes are minimal. Overnight lows are much nicer, holding in the mid-40s to lower 50s. Confidence: High

Sunday is just a tad less wonderful but highs are still in the upper 60s to lower 70s. The spoiler is that some clouds should begin to sneak up from the south. Fortunately rain should stay down south so outdoor activities are still a go. A few sprinkles or showers are possible at night (just 20-30 percent chance) when lows remain manageable in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Confidence: Medium-High

Monday brings an easy commute with partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures. Highs reach the low-to-mid 70s. Confidence: Medium
