After a drizzly, cool start, the sun emerged victorious, with temperatures topping 80 degrees in many locations. For the most part, showers and storms have eluded the region, and that’s probably the case tonight. Likewise Tuesday, we have another summery day, with just a slight chance of afternoon/evening storms.

Through Tonight: Most of the showers and storms remain out to our west through the evening. Around town, it’s partly to mostly cloudy and mild. Overnight lows range from the low 60s in the cooler suburbs to the upper 60s downtown.

Tomorrow (Tuesday): After some early morning fog, it’s a pretty standard warm late spring to early summer day. Under partly sunny skies, highs reach the mid-80s with a 20-30 percent chance of a late day thunderstorm. You’ll notice a touch of humidity due to a soft breeze from the south at around 10 mph.
