This weekend brings out the best early fall and late summer have to offer. We begin with a crisp-autumn like Saturday morning and conclude with perfect beach weather Sunday afternoon. Dry and at least partly sunny weather dominates throughout.
Through Tonight: This should be the coolest night since late May, but refreshing. Lows range from the upper 40s in the cooler suburbs to the mid-50s downtown. Skies are clear (for viewing the rocket launch at 11:27 p.m. – grab a jacket?) and winds are light.
Saturday and Sunday: Both days are dry, and enjoyably warm. Highs are 80-84 Saturday (after a cool start), and 83-87 Sunday. Skies are mostly sunny Saturday and partly sunny Sunday, with a touch more humidity Sunday…but only inching into the moderate range. Saturday night is partly cloudy and pleasant with lows from the upper 50s to mid-60s (suburbs to city).
Winds are light all weekend long…typically from a westerly direction around 5-10 mph during the day and mostly calm at night.
