Tomorrow: Mostly sunny.  Highs: 75-80.

FORECAST IN DETAIL

Have a nice day.  And another.  And another.  This pattern has been popping Nice Days so frequently since August that we may just start getting used to this!  We still have to contend with another crisp morning or two, but even that starts to moderate a bit as we get to the latter half of this week.

The latest trends have pushed the possible late weekend cold front and associated rain risks back to Monday or Tuesday next week. That clears the schedule for yet more nice weather this weekend as temperatures manage yet more 70s or maybe right near 80 degrees.  This must be what it feels like to forecast regularly in California.

nice day
Today (Tuesday): Some may consider it chilly this morning yet as we lift up out of the 40s to around 50 in the city, but sunshine early and often today means temperatures warm more quickly with low to middle 70s very likely by afternoon.  Light winds come from the northwest at 5 to 10 mph thanks to big beautiful high pressure that is just sitting and spinning over southeast Canada. Confidence: High

Tonight: Mostly clear and cool yet again with lows in the 40s in the outer suburbs to the low to middle 50s in the city.  Very light or even calm winds. Confidence: High

nice day
Tomorrow (Wednesday):  Mostly sunny skies with some warmer afternoon temperatures pushing toward the middle to upper 70s.  Winds are light and variable around 5 mph.  A few clouds could sneak into the area toward evening, but only to add a little contrast to the sunset. Confidence: High

Tomorrow night:  A few clouds around with lows a bit less cool ranging through the 50s.  Very light breezes or even calm winds again.  Confidence: Medium-High

A LOOK AHEAD

Thursday and Friday are a pair of aces with mostly sunny skies and pleasant afternoon temperatures in the middle to upper 70s.  Both Thursday and Friday night may see a few clouds as lows range mainly through the 50s again (maybe closer to 60 Friday night in the city). Confidence: Medium-High

Big pleasant high pressure has decided to stay the weekend by offering mostly sunny skies and pleasant temperatures in the middle to upper 70s maybe touching 80-81 in spots.  Great weather Saturday night too with lows in the 50s to low 60s.  Confidence: Medium-High
