PM Update: Warming trend begins tomorrow; headaches and weather

It was another chilly day, replete with a biting breeze at times, but we’re becoming pros at dealing with cold, so it’s not all that noteworthy. Plus, warmth is on the way! We begin to get a taste of milder times to come as soon as tomorrow. It’s going to be quite sunny and pretty nice out there as well.

Through Tonight: Skies remain mostly clear through the night. Add in weakening winds and you’ve got a seasonably cold one. Lows mostly fall into the near 20 to near 30 zone.

Tomorrow (Thursday): Partly to mostly clear skies are joined by winds from the south and southwest to help boost temperatures higher than we’ve seen lately. Afternoon readings should range from near 50 to the mid-50s, perhaps coldest right near water. Breezes blow around 5-10 mph during the day.

Painful storms: Does weather cause headaches? Just ask a forecaster and you’ll have little doubt! Erinn Bucklan of upwave.com investigates with questions for the experts. The short story is, yes, weather likely causes headaches. But, it’s not that simple, as there are likely many environmental triggers that can coincide so it’s difficult to ascertain the specific cause in many instances.
