Snowy Owl joins Capital Weather Gang at The Washington Post

The Capital Weather Gang has a surprise visitor this afternoon.  A snowy owl has emerged on a stoop outside The Washington Post this afternoon, just a few floors down from Capital Weather Gang’s central computer.

The owl was basking in the frigid cold air and his appearance – winter weather fans – surely portends more cold air and snow to come…


For those of you in the neighborhood, the bird is near the corner of 15th and L St (as of 2:05 p.m.) on L. A huge crowd has gathered to bird watch, so you won’t miss it. Follow @themarkberman on Twiter for the latest updates.
