Super Bowl Sunday Outlook Update #3 — 7 Days to Go

One week left! We’re now entering into a period where forecast confidence should begin to increase. However, a fast pattern might keep us nervous on details up until the end.

Precipitation – maybe light – appears to come well before kickoff of the Super Bowl. Right now, rain, or snow/mix are equally likely Saturday afternoon into early Sunday morning, assuming something does fall from the sky. Anything that falls should get out of the way by mid-late morning on Sunday, yielding a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the mid-30s to near 40 during the afternoon.

Partly to mostly clear
While we favor mostly or fully dry game-time conditions, more widespread precip could lurk to the south. Something to watch as we close in. Fan of a coin toss? That illustrates the odds of rain vs. snow showers, if they occur. Wind is still likely not much of an issue.

Note: We’re starting to get into a more realistic range for forecasts, but this forecast is still subject to significant error.
