Super Bowl Sunday Outlook Update #5 — 5 Days to Go
As we close in on the Super Bowl, the weather picture is becoming a little clearer.
It now appears more likely that a weak system will pass by well to the northwest of MetLife Stadium late Saturday into early Sunday. This means that a frontal passage should clear the area by noon at the latest on Sunday. We currently expect all rain (50% chance) with this pre-game show (perhaps quite light and scattered), or a wintry mix changing to rain and possibly ending as a few conversational snowflakes. Highs try to reach 40 or so, maybe early in the day before colder air filters back in.
