Much of the precipitation risk has dwindled with the cold front passing through, but we can’t rule out some isolated to scattered rain showers focused on the midday into afternoon period. Just a 30-40% chance, though. Temperatures are forecast to reach a high in the upper 40s to around 50, and to only cool off by 10 degrees or so as the Super Bowl kicks off in the early evening. It could certainly be worse this time of year!

Denver Broncos vs. Seattle Seahawks

6:30 p.m., Sunday, February 2, MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford, NJ)

Partly cloudy
Though a shower may linger in the area through the start of the game, we don’t anticipate that it will be heavy. Otherwise, some wind is probably the main weather issue: speeds may average around 10 mph or so during the game, with a risk for gusts to 15 mph.
