Steadier rain that fell during much of the afternoon moves south and east of the area early this evening. But the dreary dampness lingers on with drizzle into tomorrow morning and still the chance of an occasional shower. Temperatures tomorrow, while still below average, should recover nicely from today’s clammy readings that haven’t budged from the the mid-50s to near 60.
Through Tonight: Drizzle with an occasional shower is the story this evening and overnight. Overcast skies hang tough all night long with light winds and temperatures mostly steady in the mid-50s to near 60.
Tomorrow (Friday): Dreary skies stick around for the morning as damp breezes from the northeast (near 5-10 mph) provide a continued chance of drizzle or a light shower. Morning temperatures slowly rise into the 60s, but should pop toward highs in the low-to-mid 70s in the afternoon, as winds turn more from the north and skies brighten or even turn partly sunny.
Pollen: Tree counts were in the HIGH range and grass counts were in the MODERATE range as of this morning. But today’s showers should have brought the counts down quite a bit.
