An area low pressure scoots through the region Saturday with clouds and widespread showers. But by Sunday we clear out and enjoy beautiful sunshine and low humidity much like today!
Through Tonight: Delightful this evening with no rain concerns unless you’re out after 2 a.m. In the predawn hours, showers spread over the region from west to east. Lows range from 60-65. Winds are light.
Tomorrow (Saturday): Clouds and showers are likely into the afternoon, with rain ending first in our northern areas (perhaps in the early afternoon) and last in D.C.’s southern suburbs (late in the afternoon or early evening). The overcast skies keep temperatures much cooler than normal, with highs only 70-75. Winds are from the east around 5-10 mph. Rainfall amounts are generally around 0.1-0.5″, with the highest amounts south.
Saturday night and Sunday: A few showers could linger in our southeast areas early in the evening, but a slow clearing process gets underway in most spots. It may take much of the night to totally clear, but temperatures are pleasant with lows near 60. Winds come in from the north around 5 mph. On Sunday, we have delightfully sunny skies, low humidity, and highs in the low 80s. Winds are from the northeast around 5-10 mph.
