TODAY’S DAILY DIGIT
A somewhat subjective rating of the day’s weather, on a scale of 0 to 10.
4/10: A touch “cooler” than Friday, and weekend opens up ops for summer fun. Too humid, PM storm chance.
EXPRESS FORECAST
Today: Partly sunny. PM storms? Highs: 88-93
Tonight: Evening storm? Partly cloudy. Lows: 71-78
Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy. Showers or storms possible. Highs: 86-91
FORECAST IN DETAIL
Even though we’re only into mid-June, it’s feeling a lot like the “dog days” already. I don’t necessarily have great news there, other than maybe we’ve already seen the hottest of the current 90-degree day stretch come and go. Today’s temperatures should be somewhat close to yesterday though, and any overall taming of the heat is minor — perhaps also only temporary. Averages still are on the way up for a while yet!
Tonight: Any shower or storm still around should die off pretty quick heading into sunset. After that, we remain humid under partly cloudy to mostly clear skies. Lows are mainly in the low-to-mid 70s, with a few spots a little higher or lower. Winds are light. Confidence: Medium-High

Tomorrow (Sunday): Clouds are seemingly even more extensive than today, and we might end up mostly cloudy on the whole. It won’t bring much in the way of humidity relief, but it should help keep temperatures back a few more degrees. Scattered showers and storms are possible once again as well, especially from the midday and into the afternoon. Highs reach the Mid-80s to near 90 most spots. Confidence: Medium-High
Tomorrow night: Skies remain fairly cloudy through the night, probably partly cloudy at best. There could be a light shower or two throughout, after the risk of evening storms wanes. Nothing too rainy though. Lows settle into the low-and-mid 70s most spots. Confidence: Medium
A LOOK AHEAD
Monday brings partly sunny skies, plus continued warmth and humidity. Temperatures seem likely to respond to a little less cloud cover, which means highs shooting for the upper 80s and lower 90s. While afternoon showers or storms can’t be ruled out from here, the odds seem lower than in previous days. Confidence: Medium
Plan on more of the same for Tuesday. Depending on the speed of the next weak cold front, temperatures are either similar to Monday or a notch higher. A range from about 90 to 95 seems good for now. Humidity is still up there too. An isolated to scattered storm is possible late in the day. Confidence: Medium
