A beautiful day for catch on the ellipse. (Joe Flood via Flickr)

Another gorgeous day! Do you think it’s possible to be spoiled by too much great weather? I hope not — but I’m going to be missing these days the next time it rains. Highs were in the mid to upper 80s around the city today, with cotton ball cumulus dotting blue sky. Friday will be picture-perfect again, maybe a little on the warmer side with another 90-degree day possible in the city, but mugginess won’t be a factor.

Through Tonight: Skies stay mostly clear through the night, and temperatures sink to around 80 degrees by 8 p.m. Dew points are in the 50s which means humidity is nice and low, and winds are mostly from the north around 5 mph. Overnight lows bottom out close to 60 degrees in the suburbs and 70 degrees in the city.

Tomorrow (Friday): Sunny skies greet us in the morning and last through the end of the work week. Highs are in the mid to upper 80s, possibly 90 degrees in the city. Winds from the north at 5 to 10 mph help to cool things down a little in the heat of the day.
