A somewhat subjective rating of the day’s weather, on a scale of 0 to 10.

9/10: Slightly hot during the hottest part of the day, but only enough to shave one point off perfection.

Today: Mostly sunny and warm. Highs: Mid-80s.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Lows: Upper 50s to mid-60s.
Tomorrow: Mostly sunny. Highs: Mid-80s.

Outside of the fact we could use some rain, it’s hard to find much fault in this fabulous-looking forecast. Perhaps a touch warmer than some would like? Certainly can’t complain about the humidity, which remains missing in action before increasing a bit for Saturday. If only we had more time to enjoy the sunshine and comfortable temperatures, as we’re now losing daylight at a rate of 2-3 minutes per day.

Today (Wednesday): High pressure holds court, giving us another fabulous day, though starting to teeter on the hot side during the afternoon. Under mostly sunny skies, highs rise to the mid-80s with light winds, and the humidity remains in hiding. Not a drop of rain in sight, either. Confidence: High

Tonight: Another excellent evening with those mostly clear skies and temperatures cooling nicely into the 70s. Our overnight is comfortable but trending warmer than recent nights, with lows in the upper 50s to mid-60s. Confidence: High

Tomorrow (Thursday): Looks pretty much like a carbon copy of Wednesday. Mighty comfortable once again with mostly sunny skies and highs making a return visit to the mid-80s. Humidity still in check, too, and winds remain light. Confidence: High

Tomorrow night: What can we say but to enjoy yet another awesome evening to be out and about. Just a touch of humidity is the only minor flaw in the forecast, as lows bottom in the upper 50s to mid-60s again, under mostly clear skies. Confidence: High

The same pattern holds Friday and Saturday, as high pressure wards off any would-be weather intruders. Mostly sunny skies help boost highs to the mid-to-upper 80s, with perhaps more noticeable humidity around by Saturday. Friday night lows range through the 60s. Confidence: High

A weak cold front could spawn a few brief showers or thundershowers sometime Saturday night or Sunday. But it’s only a 20-30% chance as of now. Otherwise our Sunday shapes up fairly well — partly sunny and breezy, with humidity pushed back down again and highs in the upper 70s to mid-80s. Confidence: Medium
