TODAY’S DAILY DIGIT
A somewhat subjective rating of the day’s weather, on a scale of 0 to 10.
FORECAST IN DETAIL
Cloudy skies have prevailed in the region for the past 11 days but today, finally, marks a turning point. We may see the sun. Then, once it emerges, it’s going to make itself at home through the work week – lifting many spirits along the way.
A cold front may bring a period of clouds and some showers late Friday into early Saturday but the coming weekend looks like a vast improvement compared to the previous.
Today (Monday): Stubborn cloud cover hangs around through the morning but we expect some breaks as the day wears on, first in our northwestern areas, then working southeast. The mercury responds with one of the milder days we’ve had for a while with highs in the mid-to-upper 60s. Breezes are from the north around 10 mph. Confidence: Medium
Tonight: Lingering clouds decrease overnight and it turns a bit crisp. Lows range from the mid-40s in our cooler suburbs to the low-to-mid 50s downtown. Light winds from the north. Confidence: Medium-High

Tomorrow night: Mostly clear, calm, and seasonably cool. Lows range from the mid-40s in our cooler suburbs to the mid-50s downtown. Confidence: High
A LOOK AHEAD

The balance of Friday is probably dry, but clouds increase with some showers possible in the afternoon and/or evening (40 percent chance). Highs range from 65-70. The chance of showers continues overnight, with lows 50-55. Confidence: Medium
Some lingering clouds and perhaps a shower is possible early Saturday. But, for most of Saturday and all of Sunday, it should be sunnier than not. Highs are mostly in the mid-60s with lows in the mid-40s to mid-50s (downtown). Confidence: Medium
