FORECAST IN DETAIL
It’s a nice little stretch of October goodness we’ve settled into here, and the good times are set to continue at least through tomorrow. Friday’s not bad either, but does eventually bring increasing clouds and a chance of showers into Saturday morning. After a cool and breezy Saturday, the balance of the holiday weekend looks pretty pleasant, with increasing sun and a warming trend.
Today (Wednesday): Other than some morning clouds, it’s a mostly magnificent Wednesday when all is said and done. Morning temperatures rise into and through the 60s, and by afternoon we’re mostly sunny with highs in the mid-70s, maybe some upper 70s in town and toward the southwest of D.C. The breeze is a light one from the northwest. Confidence: High
Tonight: Evening temperatures drop back into the 60s, and we’re mostly clear through the overnight. Lows range from the low-to-mid 50s in the coolest suburbs, to near 60 downtown as winds stay light. Confidence: High

We’ll pick up a chance of scattered showers during the afternoon into Friday night, with lows bottoming again in the mid-50s to near 60. Confidence: Low-Medium
The weekend looks pretty good! … that is after we get past the chance of lingering showers Saturday morning. Otherwise, it’s a cool and breezy Saturday, with partial clearing possible and highs in the 60s. We’re mostly sunny for Sunday and Columbus Day Monday, with highs in the upper 60s to mid-70s and light winds. Confidence: Medium
