It has been a gray but dry Sunday around the DMV. That changes tonight, with some light rain fixed to move into the region late tonight. Fortunately for us, the precipitation will be rather short-lived, and we should end up with more tranquil weather by tomorrow afternoon.
Through Tonight: Scattered showers possible after 7 p.m. Mostly cloudy for much of the early evening before steadier precipitation moves in before midnight. Sleet may mix in at the onset of the light rain, specifically in the suburbs to the north and west of the District. Otherwise, light to moderate rain overnight with low temperatures ranging from 38 to 42 degrees. Light southeast wind at 5 mph.
