Today is not nearly as beautiful as yesterday. Although some might prefer today’s partly to mostly cloudy 60s over highs near or past 80, which return tomorrow and Friday. After the chance of a few light showers today and a few scattered showers and storms tomorrow through Saturday, steadier rain threatens to disrupt our Sunday.

Today (Wednesday): Partly to mostly cloudy skies may produce a few light showers. Otherwise it’s a cooler day, with temperatures rising into and through the 50s this morning, and afternoon highs reaching the low-to-mid 60s. In other words, the kind of weather you’d expect for mid-April. Winds are fairly light from the southeast at around 10 mph. Confidence: Medium

Tonight: Only a slight chance of an evening shower as skies continue partly to mostly cloudy through the night. Lows settle in the 50s with light winds from the south, and some areas of fog possible. Confidence: Medium

Tomorrow (Thursday): We should break into partly sunny skies, with light winds from the south warming us toward highs near 80 to the low 80s. As the air becomes increasingly warm and moist, a couple of scattered thundershowers are possible mid-to-late afternoon. Confidence: Medium

Tomorrow night: An isolated thundershower remains possible during the evening, with a better chance (40 percent) of some showers and thunderstorms overnight and toward morning. Lows are not very low at all, in the 60s under mostly cloudy skies. Confidence: Medium

A few scattered showers and thunderstorms remain possible Friday through Saturday. Friday highs head back up near 80 to the low 80s under partly sunny skies, but Saturday highs stall in the 60s in the wake of a cold front. Friday night lows bottom out near 50. Confidence: Medium

Shower chances increase Saturday night as low pressure approaches from the southwest and lows drop to near 50 to the mid-50s. Steadier rain could disrupt outdoor plans on Sunday, although the details of rain timing and amounts are still coming into focus. Confidence: Low-Medium
