We’ve got a winning start to the weekend with today’s comfortable warmth. Sunday is still fairly nice, although hotter and more humid with a late-day shower or storm chance, before a better chance of showers and storms Monday as a cooling trend begins.

Today (Saturday): Partly sunny skies, near-normal warmth, and comfortable humidity levels make this a perfectly pleasant day for the first weekend of meteorological summer. Highs reach near 80 to the low 80s with fairly light winds, blowing out of the northwest at 5 to 10 mph. Confidence: High

Tonight: Thanks to an approaching warm front, we’ll be a pinch warmer than last night, with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s under mostly clear skies. Winds are light from the south as some humidity starts to creep back in. Confidence: High

Tomorrow (Sunday): We turn more summery with partly to mostly sunny skies and hotter highs in the mid to upper-80s. The humidity is higher as well, but still tolerable, with dew points near or past 60. With the warm front in our vicinity, a late afternoon shower or thunderstorm is possible. Winds are from the southwest at 5 to 10 mph. Confidence: Medium

Tomorrow night: We’ll turn mostly cloudy with the continued chance of an evening shower or storm, and a few showers or storms possible overnight. Lows are milder once again, in the mid to upper 60s, with winds still from the southwest at 5 to 10 mph. Confidence: Medium

Monday looks mostly cloudy with a good chance of showers and storms. Highs should be capped in the upper 70s and low 80s because of the clouds and precipitation, with a good deal of mugginess. Rain chances may linger into Monday evening but overall should be decreasing through the night. Confidence: Medium

We’ll retain shower chances on Tuesday under the influence of an upper-level low-pressure system. More clouds than sun appear likely with relatively cool highs near 70 to the mid-70s. Confidence: Low-Medium
