The string of beautiful days is coming to a close as the remnants of Hurricane Irma move in. More clouds than sun are expected through the rest of this week with on-and-off again shower chances. Temperatures and humidity creep higher with 80s returning tomorrow and continuing into the weekend. We have a chance to see more sun this weekend, but confidence on that is low.

Today (Tuesday): Mostly cloudy with occasional light showers possible, especially south of the city. Highs range through the 70s. Light winds blow mainly from the east. Rainfall totals should be very light — a trace to one-tenth of an inch. These showers are the outer periphery of Irma's remnants. Confidence: Medium

Tonight: Cloudy with a chance of light showers. Lows drop into the 60s and humidity inches up a bit as we get some tropical humidity creeping into the region. Rain amounts should again be very light — a trace to less than one-tenth of an inch. Confidence: Medium

Tomorrow (Wednesday):  Mostly cloudy in the morning with scattered showers, but then partly sunny in the afternoon and turning warmer.  Highs range from 80 to the middle 80s with moderate humidity (dew points in the 60s). Light winds mainly from the southeast. Confidence: Medium

Tomorrow night: Partly to mostly cloudy with lows in the middle 60s to about 70. An isolated shower is possible and conditions remain muggy. Confidence: Medium

Thursday and Friday should see more Irma remnants rolling through the area with partly to mostly cloudy skies, highs in the lower to middle 80s, moderate humidity, and regular chances of showers and thunderstorms. Thursday and Friday nights both see scattered showers and muggy lows in the 60s to about 70. Confidence: Low to medium

The weekend is a difficult call right now because of Irma. For now, we'll aim for partly sunny skies with scattered afternoon showers each day (better chance on Saturday) as highs still make the low to middle 80s. Humidity remains moderate and overnight temperatures dip into the 60s to just about 70 in the city. Confidence: Low
