What’s left of Irma continues to weaken over the next few days. But there’s still enough leftover energy and moisture around that we’re likely to see some showers, especially tomorrow. A thunderstorm or two is also possible as we stay on the warm and somewhat humid side through the weekend.

Today (Wednesday): The chance of a lingering early-to-mid-morning shower is about the only weather inconvenience today, unless you count mostly cloudy morning skies. We should see skies brighten by mid-to-late afternoon, as highs reach near 80 to the low 80s with moderate humidity and light winds. Confidence: Medium-High

Tonight: The evening should be dry, with a light shower or two possible overnight. A light but steady breeze keeps us a bit on the warm and muggy side as lows fall back to the mid-60s to near 70 under partly to mostly cloudy skies. Confidence: Medium-High

Tomorrow (Thursday): Scattered showers seem likely, with an afternoon thunderstorm possible as well, as more of Irma’s leftover energy comes through. Highs reach the upper 70s to near 80 with partly to mostly cloudy skies, and still with moderate humidity. Confidence: Medium

Tomorrow night: Rain chances are generally on the decline. But a scattered shower or two remains possible through the evening and overnight, with lows in the 60s. Confidence: Medium

We’re still looking at some lingering upper-level energy from Irma on Friday, which means partly to mostly cloudy skies and the chance of a few more showers. Highs head for near 80 to the low 80s with continued moderate humidity. Friday night should be dry with lows in the 60s. Confidence: Medium

The weekend looks partly sunny and mostly decent. But with no dominant area of high pressure overhead, we can’t rule out the chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm each day. The humidity remains unchanged in the moderate range with highs near 80 to the mid-80s. Confidence: Low-Medium
