Big cool high pressure over Eastern Canada keeps us on repeat through tomorrow. We start to shift gears by Thursday with a warmer flow and our best shot at 60 degrees.  A new high pressure cools us back down on Friday and then a Midwest low-pressure system arrives to complicate our weekend with rain risks Saturday and a chilly Sunday.

Today (Tuesday): Another cloudier morning situation with a slow breakout toward sunshine by midday and especially afternoon. A cool morning lifts toward highs in the low to middle 50s — just slightly colder than normal for this time of year. Mostly light winds blow from the north. Confidence: Medium-High

Tonight: Mostly clear but some clouds increase toward morning again with lows ranging from 30 in the outer suburbs to around 40 in the city. Winds very light from the north or calm.  Confidence: Medium-High

Tomorrow (Wednesday): Another day like Monday and Tuesday with mixed to cloudy skies in the morning and sunshine breaking out in the midday range into the afternoon. Highs are also in the 50-55 range as winds remain light and mostly from the north again. Confidence: Medium-High

Tomorrow night: Cloudier and a bit warmer with lows in the upper 30s to middle 40s.  Light winds. Confidence: Medium-High

Thursday aims to be our warmest day of this week. Morning clouds give way to midday and afternoon sunshine as highs rocket into the lower 60s. Mostly clear Thursday night as lows range through the 30s.  Confidence: Medium-High

A new relatively cooler air mass arrives on Friday with mostly sunny skies and highs in the lower 50s.  Clouds increase Friday night with lows in the upper 30s to middle 40s. Confidence: Medium

The weekend is looking to be a mixed muddled mess. Saturday features mostly cloudy skies with showers developing during the day as temperatures move toward the warmer middle- to upper-50s range.  Saturday night should see more showers or even periods of rain ending late ahead of a cold front and falling temperatures. Lows reach the upper 30s to low 40s by dawn on Sunday. The Sunday daytime expectation includes mostly sunny skies, BUT it also looks breezy and quite chilly with highs only mustering the 40s. Confidence: Medium

Looks like the colder lean to the pattern extends into early next week, too, and may extend right into Thanksgiving (at least marginally cooler than normal weather) with a chance of showers either Wednesday or Thursday.
