A somewhat subjective rating of the day’s weather, on a scale of 0 to 10.

5/10: Does a seasonable day in midwinter please anyone? Lack of snow is no fun, too cold despite the sun.

Today: Mainly sunny with light breeze. Highs: 40-44
Tonight: Starry skies and cold. Lows: 23-29
Tomorrow: Sunny and calm. Highs: 48-52

Our slide back to typical midwinter cold is short-lived, with temperatures in the 50s back for the weekend. Sunny skies prevail, but Sunday looks like a damp day from start to finish. The showers are unlikely to please those bemoaning our dry spell, as precipitation amounts remain quite light. Snow remains on hiatus, but don’t give up hope as next weekend shows a hint of potential.
