Greetings from BB&T Center in sunny Sunrise, Fla. where the Capitals recently wrapped up their morning skate ahead of tonight’s rematch against Florida. Based off rushes this morning, Washington will keep the same lineup that turned in an impressive 5-0 win over the Panthers on Saturday at Verizon Center.

The Panthers will be making some changes, though. Scott Clemmensen (0-1-1, 3.77 goals-against average, .853 save percentage) gets the start in net tonight. He made four saves in a brief 11-minute relief outing Saturday when the game was already well in Washington’s favor. Last season, Clemmensen went 2-1-0 against the Capitals — both wins came in South Florida — with a 3.31 goals-against average and .882 save percentage.

Veteran forward Alex Kovalev, who was a healthy scratch the past two games, will be back in the Panthers lineup and Jerred Smithson will sit out.

Brooks Laich is on the trip with the team and did off-ice groin exercises this morning but did not skate. Coach Adam Oates did not offer any update on Laich’s status.

Roman Hamrlik, Tom Poti (upper-body) and Marcus Johansson, who is not on the trip with an upper-body injury are the expected scratches. Based on the morning skate, here’s what the lineup should look like:
