The Capitals will have to wait a few more days than expected to kick off their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series. Washington will host the Rangers for Game 1 on Thursday at Verizon Center and the next three games will follow every other day.

Should the series go the distance, though, things will get interesting as Game 6 and 7 are scheduled for back-to-back days. If necessary the Capitals and Rangers would play Games 5, 6 and 7 in three days with travel between each contest.
