Braden Holtby (3-4-0, .913 save percentage, 3.03 GAA) gets the start in Edmonton as the Capitals aim for a third-consecutive victory. The Oilers are also vying for a third consecutive win after returning home to Alberta following a six-game road trip and will opt for Devan Dubnyk, who will be making his first career appearance against Washington. Dubnyk (2-4-1, .881 save percentage, 4.01 GAA) backstopped the Oilers in each of their last two wins allowing a combined four goals in 68 shots against the Senators and Canadiens.
