The Washington Capitals can clinch the Presidents’ Trophy against the St. Louis Blues on Saturday night. The Dallas Stars beat the San Jose Sharks, 4-2, so the Capitals would need to at least pull a point to secure the regular season award.
.@washcaps will clinch Presidents' Trophy if they get at least 1pt vs Blues OR if DAL loses to SJ in any fashion or defeat SJ in a shootout.

T.J. Oshie will miss a second straight game with the flu, so he won’t be playing against the team he was drafted by and spent seven seasons with. Troy Brouwer, who the Capitals traded to St. Louis for Oshie, is in the lineup for the Blues. Expect a tribute video to Brouwer.
The Capitals will start backup goaltender Philipp Grubauer, as Braden Holtby played on Friday night in New Jersey. Grubauer is 8-6-1 this season with a .924 save percentage and a 2.19 goals-against average. The Blues are starting Jake Allen, who is 24-14-3 with a .917 save percentage and a 2.42 goals-against average.
The lineup is below, and the discussion thread is now open.
