AFTER A CRAZY amount of social-media teasing and taunting, “Suicide Squad” director David Ayer has revealed the first official look at Jared Leto as the Joker — complete with slime-green hair, silvery teeth, chalky-white complexion (seemingly from head to toe) and a coat of tattoos (including a tiny knife that looks to serve as a tear).

For the Suicide Squad, the Clown Prince of Crime should have a surplus of tricks up his sleeve — even if he’s shirtless in the first reveal. But what we really want to know is when will we see him go up against Batfleck (who seemed SO angry in the “Batman v Superman trailer” — could the Joker be behind all that gloom?).

This image answers most inquiries about “What will the new Joker look like?” But there’s a wealth of questions (wouldn’t the Riddler be pleased?). As in: What will he sound like? Will there be any channeling of Mark Hamill or Heath Ledger, or will this be an all-new, all-different Joker?

Plus: Is the Joker the reason the Suicide Squad is being formed? Is he on the loose? Still locked up? Given that Harley Quinn is confirmed to be on board for the Squad, is she already on the outs with her Mr. J?

Nothing will be answered right away, but we can finally say that we’ve gotten a peak at the deadly laughs that are a part of two major forthcoming WB/DC Comics franchises.
