The final trailer for “Wonder Woman” debuted last night during the MTV Movie and TV Awards, giving an extended look at the action we’ve seen in previous trailers but nothing too new.

Playing to the tune of “Warriors” by Imagine Dragons, the trailer shows more World War I footage and Diana/Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) right in the middle of it, taking on an onslaught of rapid-fire bullets with her shield and indestructible bracelets.

Steve Trevor (Chris Pine), being held captive by the Amazons and the glowing lasso of truth (which means he can’t tell a lie while it is wrapped around him) after crashing his plane on the island of Themyscira, says that Doctor Poison (Elena Anaya) is working toward assuring that the war never ends.

“Wonder Woman” director Patty Jenkins and WB/DC are still holding the big villain reveal close to the chest. Doctor Poison has a role in the mayhem, but it would be hard to believe that she is the main villain in the long-awaited debut of Wonder Woman’s own movie.

Jenkins has already mentioned in interviews that Ares, the God of War, will be the villain in “Wonder Woman,” but we’ve yet to see him in trailers. This latest trailer shows Wonder Woman deflecting a giant bolt of energy, which perhaps is a battle scene with Ares.

The secrecy is the exact opposite strategy of the Doomsday reveal in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” which happened in the final “B v S” trailer.

WB/DC is looking to “Wonder Woman” to stop the string of largely negative reviews from mainstream critics for their young, live-action DC Comics universe.

“Wonder Woman” arrives in theaters June 2.
