The Washington PostDemocracy Dies in Darkness

There aren’t many 330-pound linemen who can properly walk a fashion runway, but Chris Baker did it, and did it gracefully. He was joined at the Walk This Way charity fashion show by Redskins teammates Lorenzo Alexander, Kedric Golston, Reed Doughty and DeAngelo Hall, and Caps players John Carlson and Karl Alzner.

Alexander had me a little worried yesterday when he described his planned attire for the show — which raised money for Becky’s Fund, an organization benefiting victims of domestic violence — as “red and black and satin.” But clearly he can pull it off. He’s got a Hugh Hefner thing going on.

The guys looked great, no one tripped, money was raised, and they get to keep the clothes. Everyone wins.
